51 Oct 24 Comment What a sky! This would be great on your wall and also make a great jigsaw puzzle. You did a great job with the houses and silo. Choosing to keep the foreground small and include mostly clouds works beautifully. There is a very faint bright line outlining the mountain on the left. Is this natural or an artifact? It is not bothersome, but it does catch my eye. Oct 2nd
51 Oct 24 Comment A nearly purrfect image. While the iron in the foreground would not help the image in competition, it certainly helps warm it up. The sunlight streaming through the window provides light and warmth as well. A nice decision to make an image even when he surroundings are not ideal. Oct 2nd
51 Oct 24 Comment Nice job! It is hard to believe surfers can ride waves this small, or are they bigger than they look in the image? I think leaving the boat at the horizon with a narrow sky was a good choice and the placement of the surfer is perfect. Oct 2nd
51 Oct 24 Comment I think the border helps. I hardly ever think of it. The blossom is lovely, well lit and slightly off center. This might be one of the rare occasions when bulls eye composition works. A matter of taste of course. Oct 2nd
51 Oct 24 Comment What fun! And a dinosaur in Yellowstone seems possible! Thanks for reminding us of Image Blender. As always you give us a challenge by showing what can be done with the right app. I don't see anything in this image I would change. Oct 2nd
51 Oct 24 Comment Welcome Rita. It is great to have you with us.
This is a lovely image and certainly leads one's eye into the scene. The only comment I have about the tracks may be simply the result of a post-cataract surgery slight aberration in my vision, not your vision. To me, the right hand track looks slightly lower than the left track. As a train nut this makes me nervous because the trains could fall over. If you see the same tilt, then a very small correction would fix it. If you don't see a tilt, then chalk my comment up to geezer vision.
