You are right. It is a bench. One of many along this rail trail. |

I do walk on this trail often. It is 21 miles long , so there are lots of different scenes to find and four seasons to provide even more variety. I'll check out Simon Booth. |

Tghe contrast in textures in this image works nicely as does the contrast in light. The cactus "hand" on the left keeps our eyes from wandering away so that we return to the peak. A lovely post card image! |

This is a striking image. I think your decision to have the mushrooms on a large background works really well. The mushrooms are fascinating. From this angle, shooting nearly straight down (?) it is impossible to see how tall they are and what the stems are like. I had a look on line and didn't find a good likeness. This might be a question for the PSA nature ID person (Rick Cloran) to answer, if you care. |

I really like this image of a spot I have only photographed in summer. I visited Yellowstone in winter-once, many years ago, but came to this spot on a snowmobile and was far too cold to make any decent photo. Nice capture. |

The "gift" surfer really makes the image pop. The image nearly divides into thirds with the surfer in a position that ties them together. Great composition. |

A great way to show the season. With a little imagination the snow almost creates a question mark. Will this early spring last? The contrasts between warm sun, snow, open water and bare branches keeps us in the photo. Nice! |

The bird looks like a Sandhill Crane. That would be a bit unusual in your location for the shot. Nice way to get the viewer's attention, and to show us another way to use image blender. |
