Since the original was not modified at all, the effect is natural. Perhaps that is why Virginia Bluebells are renowned for their beauty. Otherwise, something in the phone editing steps I took may be the cause. I did not try for such an effect. Anybody have a theory? |

The shadows of the women show that you took this image in harsh, nearly mid-day light. Although it is a color image it has the full B&W range from black to white including on the left hand backpack and that bright red to grab the eye. Nice capture! |

A lovely image of a lovely spot. Did you try the highlights slider in the camera edit menu? I am not sure how I would work on the highlights issue, but I would probably just keep blundering along to see what worked. How about reducing contrast? Ditto brilliance?
In any case the image is certainly worth working on. BTW, I like it as is.

Fascinating that these doves stayed put while you relaxed. Did you see eggs? The right hand dove appears to have a brood patch so eggs are likely. Both the birds and the log seem super sharp. Was this the way they were without modification?
This image would make a great jigsaw puzzle! |

I like the clean lines that are a major feature of this image. The glass looks like it was pretty clean as well. Did you clean it or was it that way? I do think I may see a couple of spots on the upper right, but they could be birds.
This is one of those images that we walk right past if not really searching. Nice job! |

Nice work. If you can't shoot at the golden hour, find a golden flower! Your image and comments sent me to my Welby book to be sure how close one can get with the 12 Pro. Answer, 3 inches. So the 13 has an advantage other than video capability! Nice to know. Thanks |

As Jerry said, you took an OK image and put it over the top. You added not only color, but drama to the image. The tiny separation between the small cactus in the background and the left hand cactus in the foreground is tiny, but important. Nicely done. |
