Lynn and Sol,
I agree that removing the grass in the foreground is an improvement. It also gets rid of the problematic lower left corner that Bob commented on. |

You are right about the lower left corner. I didn't even see it! |

The trees give this image a great patterned look that could make a really nice jigsaw puzzle! The cloud cover gives a very different look from the usual fall color in the sun we usually see. I like it! |

A lovely shot of a lovely place. I like the way you used the bridge to divide the scene into two parts that show two types of fall color. The glare on the stream reminds me to ask if anyone in the group has found a polarizer for their phone? |

A very interesting shot with a story to tell. The locks are probably "love locks." Couples sign them, attach them to a chain link fence, then throw away the key so that they will stay linked forever.
I like the continuation of the fence in the background pointing to the sea which provides location information as part of the story. Well seen. |

I am surrounded with piles and piles of leaves at my cabin and did not see a way to make them interesting. You have done it beautifully. The double mat effect is interesting. How did you do that?
Happy and safe Holidays to you and all of the rest of our group as well! |

I really like this image and the fine white line around it separates it fr0m the background nicely. Glad you are having fun!! |

Great shot Dave. The tree does look like it is on fire and the contrast with the snow is enhanced with your processing to great effect.
Nice work. |
