I like the scene and the idea of the frame, but maybe a more subtle frame would enhance the image and not take over as much. On the other hand, this has a desktop look that is interesting. |

The house and outbuilding appear to be sinking in a sea of grass and Canola (known as Rape everywhere except in the USA, Land of the prude). OK it's July 4 and I should be more polite!! The storm clouds add to the sinking illusion. Very nice and different image. |

While Sol is right that the flowers are soft, they also pop! You are always an inspiration Lynne. |

The "oof" over the entrance looks like a funnel to me. Perhaps that is where all the people drained out of the scene. The dark look adds to the mystery. Nice story starter. |

The bare trees in the background add to the barren nature of this rock hard site.
Nice capture of the spirit of the past and maybe what is to come. |

I agree about the twigs. Not very noticeable on the phone, but sure show up on computer screen! |

Somehow the title and comment went astray for this image. Title: Flowering Quince
This was inspired by Lynne Royce's April photo!
Had to dip into the archives for this one. |
