I think the bright green light might be some sort of reflected light interacting with the landing light of a plane headed in to Dulles Airport, which I didn't notice at the time or during processing. |

I gave a long comment a few days ago but it seems to have disappeared. Please excuse me if this is a repeat.
I envy you your ability to get to the jersey shore with all its birds and surf. As a birder, I can explain their behavior. Staying on the boardwalk allows them to scope far more shoreline than would be possible from the beach and the scopes get them close.
I really like your image and the collage which provides two types of behavior and a more complete "image" of sandpipers.

This is a very interesting series. I understand the processes up until the final image. The "vignette" of branches must be the result of Distressed FX, but I don't know how. I will have to experiment and find out. |

Nice capture!! It illustrates the way frost accumulates in just the right conditions. It looks much like a two day old beard and in fact there is a crude version of statement given to someone who badly needs a shave based on this phenomenon!
I much prefer your version and the effect accentuate produced. |

Obviously you dream in technicolor. Not everyone does. The vignette adds to the tunnel to far off warm climes the image implies. Summer does seem far off just now and your image captures that nicely. |

This image has a really nice feel. It looks like an infrared image, though it may not be one. If not, how was it accomplished? I am tempted to say that I haven't the foggiest idea how you did it, but that could get me booted from the group. |
