It would be interesting to see if any locals did notice the flipping. |

Thanks for the comments Pete. Yes, the shadows are too blue. I thought about cropping but did not want to crop into the shadows, perhaps I should have done so. |

Hi Alex, thanks for the comments. I thought too much snow as well but I did not want to crop into the shadows. A higher angle is a good suggestion. |

Thanks for the comments Lisa. I like the blueish look, I think it looks cold. Yes, I could have done better getting rid of the building. |

Hello Patrick, I really like this image. I like how you have composed it, the angle of the bridges and how the buildings are placed between the bridge towers. The boat going under the bridge is a nice touch. I think you handled the post processing well, I like the exposure and I think the sky looks great. |

Great image Alex and fun to look at. That's a lot of Christmas lights and I think that you handled the composition and exposure well, you did good with the post processing. You must get a lot of sightseers coming to see the lights. |

Hi Mike, this is a great image and the subject is quite interesting. I know that cropping is a matter of taste but I like the image just as you have presented it. I find the light pole a bit distracting and it could easily be removed but with it in I think the image is an accurate depiction of the scene. |

Great image Richard. I think that this is a lovely composition, I like the flow of the river and the fall colors are great. You did a good job with post processing. I think the image speaks for itself, no need for anything else added, it's a great nature image. |

Hi Drema, I like Patrick's suggestion regarding the placement of the island but I really don't think it is an improvement over your image, just different. It is certainly a lovely scene. |

Hi Pete, great image, I love the composition and the overall feel. I like it the way it is but I also think Patrick's suggestion for upping the colors would be good for a pure abstract. |

Hi Lisa, I think that Patrick's comments about a closer view of the church are good. This looks like an image from some exotic location, I really like it. I think that including the train was a good choice for an overall view. Sounds like some pretty lame excuses for not shooting more :) |
