I love your image. At first I thought that there was too much bright sky but after more thought I think it is perfect, it balances well with the dark subject. I also like not seeing her face, to me it adds to the feeling of isolation. |

Very nice image Pete, I love the lighting and the colors. For me the red mountains are the main subject and the foreground just leads me there. In my opinion I find the larger tree in the lower left to be a little distracting, that said I have no suggestion on what to do differently. I think it is a very nice landscape. |

Hi Mike, this is a beautiful sunset, the sky is quite impressive. I tend to agree with Drema's comments about the shapes on the left, I think that they could be cropped out without losing much. A person on the dock would've been nice, when you want someone in your photo there is never anyone around. |

Hi Alex, I think this is a great image, I love the shadows and the warm colors. I like that it has no sense of scale. If the arch is the intended subject I don't think it stands our well enough, perhaps Pete's cropping suggestion might help with that. |

Hi Drema, this is another great image of a beautiful subject. I like the 16x9 format and I think that the finished version is stunning. I like the composition showing the foreground and background clearly. |

Hello Richard, I think that this is a great image and a wonderful story, thanks for sharing it. To my eye you have handled the image very well, I like the composition and the cropping. I agree that the container ship could be brightened up a bit. |

Hi Lisa, a very nice image. This perspective shows that just because a photographer has a drone they don't have to always take a top down view. I like the saturation but I agree with Drema that the sky seems a bit unnatural. |

Thanks for the comments Pete. I will give them a try. I have to be careful as I can be heavy handed on the dehaze. |

Hi Susan, thanks for your submission. I think this is an interesting photo and appropriate for this time of year. I find it distracting as it is not sharp and the image is skewed to the left.
Merry Christmas. |

Hello Dean, thanks for submitting your image. I like the composition and the lighthouse looks interesting. Personally I would like to see more of the lighthouse itself and less of the building or perhaps it is the base of the lighthouse. Could you have gotten back further to get a different angle?
Thanks again for you submission. |
