Hello Patrick, I like your rendition much better. Actually, I'm not sure what the subject is. I suppose that it is the farm house although that is not evident in my image. |

Thanks for the comments Drema. I need to work on my skies, I can't seem to get them right. I agree that I should have left the mountain in the image. |

Hi Pete, yes there was a recent rain. A day or two before we got caught in a down pour that was somewhat concerning since we were in the desert at the time. |

Hello Patrick, I think this is an amazing image. Personally I like the waves, actually the waves in any of the images are great. In my opinion removing the orange fence would make a stronger image. |

Hi Alex, I guess that I'll jump on the band wagon and say the image lacks a center of interest. I sometimes find that my images have the same issue, especially my drone images. Maybe it's because when I take photos with my drone the vantage point provides such an unusual scene that I just want to capture it without thinking too much about what I really find interesting. |

Hi Drema, I really like this image and the composition does not bother me at all. Given the subject I don't know where else you could have put the horizon to better advantage and personally I think that the sun is in an ideal spot. To my eye the trees are a little too dark. I usually shoot my drone images on auto exposure although I never do with my DSLR. |

Hi Richard, I think this is a great image. I find the composition to be handled very well, I like the diagonal line of the river, I think that really makes the image come alive. I find the greens to be very lifelike and realistic. |

Hi Pete, very nice image the abstractness of it is beautiful. If the person is going to be in the image then I like it like you are showing it, however, I'm not sure if the figure adds to the overall image or not. |

Hello Susan, I like your image, I think that it is quite whimsical. I am somewhat bothered by the fact that it is skewed, perhaps that is how you intended it to be presented. If not then that could be easily handled in Lightroom. I understand your reason for leaving the image in color, personally however I would prefer a B&W rendering as I find the color image too busy. |

Hi Michele, this is a very interesting image. Did you see them get into this position? I wonder how exactly they did it. I think that the B&W rendering is perfect, to my eye the color version is much too busy. Also, good choice going with the vertical format. |

Thanks for the comments Michele. I will have to give it a try in B&W. I agree the woman does appear to looking at her phone, sadly that's almost a given any more. |
