Thanks for the comments Richard. The highlights are a bit unfortunate. |

Hi Alex, I really like this photo, I agree with Pete that perhaps a bit off the left would put the waterfall in a better spot in the image. The lighting is pretty tricky but I think you did well capturing the photo that you did. Soft flowing water may be the ideal but I don't mind the frozen effect either when it is a trade off for getting the image. |

Hi Pete, I agree with Drema's comments. I think that the composition is very good, I like the branching stream. Some of the snow is a little bright but that does not bother me at all. I think this is a great image. |

Hi Mike, I really like your image and I think that the added sky works very well. I like Drema's idea on blending the sky in a little more. Personally I don't feel like the bright objects in the foreground add anything to the image. Overall though I think that it is nicely done. |

Hi Pete, I think that you captured a very nice image. It is well composed with the boat in a great spot and the wake and dock as a leading lines. The sky looks great, I'm glad it worked out even without bracketing. |

Thanks for the comments Drema. Yes, I should bracket my shots. I appreciative the comment about the areas being too gray, I'll see what I can do about that. |

Hi Lisa, I think this is a great image and a good find for a subject. You definitely don't want bad karma, unfortunately it seems like people come out of no where to tell you not to fly your drone (or whatever else you may be doing) even if it is not bothering them other than they just don't like you doing it. I agree with Pete that the building in the foreground is a distraction. |

You're right, this is not the image I submitted. Someone this one got replayed. Oh well. |

Hi Chuck, great spot on this yard sale. I like the image but at first I thought that there was too much going on, after looking at it more I think that the composition is fine. I like how the sidewalk leads the viewer right up to the front porch. I do think that there is a little too much contrast. |

Hi Marianne, I really like this image and I think that is is very well composed, the subject stands out and the background is in sharp focus but not distracting. To my eye the image overall is a bit too bright. I agree that leaving the curb in was the better thing to do, it does add even more perspective to the image. |

Hi Keisha, I think this is a great image and an excellent example of street photography. My first thought was that the people in the background were distracting but then I thought no, they really add a lot to the image and catching them at that time with their expressions is priceless. Technically I think that the image is also very well done. |
