85 May 25 Comment Hi Drema, thanks for the comments and suggestions. I don't think that I've ever used the Free Transform tool in the manner that you've suggested, I like the results. I have a difficult time determining how much to lighten/darken an area, such as the hills in this image. Thanks again. May 25th
85 May 25 Comment I love this image, the subject and the lighting are wonderful. In my opinion the B&W rendering is perfect, it shows great detail. I agree with Pete about the upper left being sort of empty, I think that a little could be cropped from the top. May 17th
85 May 25 Comment This is a lovely scene and I think that you have done a good job capturing it. The snow really adds interest and makes the ledges stand out. In my opinion a higher altitude would make the image more dramatic and add depth. May 17th
85 May 25 Comment Beautiful image Pete. I love the composition and the leading lines. I think that the back lighting is great, I'm not sure about the fog, I'd like to see the image without it. May 17th
85 May 25 Comment Hi Richard, very cool image. I like the abstract nature of the image and the vivid colors. I think that the angle and composition are handled well, I agree with Pete that the subject does seem a little crowded. Well done. May 11th
85 May 25 Reply Thanks for the comments Pete. I agree with you and perhaps if I cropped a bit from the right and the bottom then the composition would be stronger. I have a few more of this scene taken from various altitudes and angles. I appreciate your input. May 11th
85 May 25 Comment HI Drema, well done with the perspective corrections. I think that this is a great image. I love the subject and the composition, the clock tower definitely draws my attention. To my eye the image is a little tight on the right but I think that the top is good, I would not put any more sky in the image. May 11th
85 May 25 Comment Hi Lisa, I love this type of image and I think that you did a great job capturing it. I like the B&W rendering and I agree that the image could use more contrast. In my opinion this would did well in color too. I think that you could really saturate the colors a lot but of course that would probably lose the zombie feeling. May 11th

92 May 25 Reply Hi Susan, thanks for the comments. I agree that the image might be better if the family was in front of the wall, apparently they did not think so. As for the f7.1, I don't have a good rationale for that. That is probably what I had the lens set at and took the shot without giving the f stop any thought. Currently, I am keeping my walking around settings in manual mode at 1/250 second, f8 and auto ISO. May 19th
92 May 25 Comment Beautiful image Keisha. I love the composition and the B&W rendering is perfect for this image. May 6th
92 May 25 Comment Well done Marianne. You do have a skill for finding interesting images and then capturing them well. I think that the composition is good and the exposure and sharpness are perfect. I did not notice the guy on the right until Michele pointed him out. To me the focus of the image is so strong that the guy doesn't bother me, I like that he partially obscures the guy walking toward you. May 6th
92 May 25 Comment Hi Michele, I think this is a great image. I love street photographs and for me this image exemplifies that. This photo is a great memory. May 6th
92 May 25 Reply Hi Michele, thanks for the comments. I certainly agree about the boy being too bright. I tried cropping from the left and to my eye it then seems like there is too much wall on the right. I tried cropping off a bit on the right and to me that seems better. I know the image is a cliche but I'm okay with that. Thanks again. May 5th
