Hi Keisha, I agree with the others. Very nice image and the removal of the sign does remove that distraction. |

I have a question Pete. How do you feel about the foreground? Do you think that I should I crop it off about up to the reflection? |

Thanks for the comments Alex. Personally, I cannot decide about the foreground. |

Thanks for the comments Pete. Yes, the right side is too tight, I may have other images showing more on that side. Thanks for the advice on the shadows. |

Hi Gordy, I like this image and I think it's great that you were able to capture it. I agree with Richard, I think that the sky is not helping the image, perhaps cropping out part of the sky and enhancing what is left might give the image more impact. |

Hi Pete, I think that this is a difficult subject to make look interesting. There's so much and it's difficult to tell exactly what you are looking at. I think the others have a good idea regarding moving in and focusing on a smaller area. Those darn club judges can be tough :) |

Hi Drema, thanks for the comments. I agree that the time of day is not the best, unfortunately I did not have an alternative available. I also, agree that it does appear to lean right, I did not notice that. At times I too level an images based on perception rather than reality. I think the sandbar is somewhat distracting but I kind of like it. |

Beautiful image Drema. Unfortunately some of the best places to photograph have drone restrictions although most are for good reasons. I love this image, the colors of the rocks and the overall exposure are great. I do find the little stream at the bottom to be distracting. |

Hi Mike, I think this is a pretty amazing image. I love the subject and the wonderful colors. I like the composition and the overall exposure. To my eye the white sand is too bright but I am not sure what could be done to avoid that. I've been tempted to fly from a boat but have never had the courage to do so. |

Hello Alex, I like the concept of your image. The fields and landscape are so vast that it gives me an other worldly feel. I think the sharpness and exposure are right on and I like the B&W rendering. To my eye the composition is not ideal, I would like to see a little more on the left and less on the right. I also find the near merger of the corner to the bottom of the image to be distracting. That being said I do think that you did a fine job with this subject. |

Hello Richard, I love the image and I'm interested in traveling to that part of the country, New Jersey is under appreciated. I really like the exposure and the bright colors and the subject is great. I do find the dark pond in the foreground to be quite distracting from the overall image. Perhaps some cropping would improve the composition. |

Hi Richard, good eye spotting this image. I like the idea and I think that you have captured the lighting and exposure well. I'm not sure but I think that just the three main trucks might make for a stronger composition. |

Hi Michele,
I think that this is a great photo, I love the action. I too find the sewer distracting, I think you could clone it out and avoid the need to crop so tight. |

Yes, cropping just above the knees could work. |

Hi Susan, very nice image and I love the B&W rendering, I think it gives a better feel to the subject matter. To my eye you have framed this a little too tight, on the bottom specifically where the feet merge with the bottom of the image. I like the color version too but I think that the greens are overpowering. |

Hi Chuck, I think that this is a great image. I love the subject matter and the composition, I agree that it tells a very nice story. To my eye the boy kind of blends into the background. I think the exposure on him could be reduced a bit, especially the blacks. The B&W rendering is definitely the way to go with this image. |

Thanks for the comments Michele. I have a habit of over sharpening, I need to be aware of that. |

Hi Keisha, I think that this is a great image. I like both the color and B&W but I think I prefer the gritty B&W rendering. Great job spotting and capturing this image. I would like to see a bit more space in front of the subject, to my eye it seems as though the man is running into the edge of the frame. |

Hi Marianne, very nice image and well done technically. I find it very busy but in this case that is not bad. There is so much to look at and yet my eye keeps going back to the main subject. Well done. |
