Hi Alex, thanks for the comments. I agree that there seems to be a lot going on here. I think that I prefer the lower half of the image best. I like the foliage and the shoreline. |

Thanks for the comments Don. I agree that the building should be more prominent. Thanks for the comments on the colors, I find those difficult to get right. |

Hi Don, it's great that you have a spot like this for flying your drone. It bothers me a little that there isn't much room on the bottom of the image and I don't think the cars add much to the overall image. What would it look like as a vertical with the whole island showing and just the natural part of the beach. |

Great image Pete. The post processing really brings out the colors and details. The lighting on the mud in the foreground is well done and the rainbow looks great. I agree with Drema, bad weather can make for some amazing images. |

Hi Alex, great image! I love the dazzling lights and the bright colors. It seems to me that you made use of the entire frame filling it with images that really give me the feeling of the excitement of being there. The only minor suggestion I might make, and one that has been made to me more than once, is that with an image with a black background a faint border to delineate the edges of the image may be appropriate. |

I love this image Richard, I think that it is very relaxing to look at. To my eye the elements are handled well. I like the leading lines of the islands fading into the horizon, the exposure seems good and I like the halo effect around the one island. I think the sky may be a little too bright but that doesn't really bother me. I think this is a great image. |

Hi Drema, I like looking at your photo, it's quite pleasant. I think that the combination of the light in the sky and the illuminated windows make for a dramatic image. It's good that you were patient waiting for the right lighting and I think you did an excellent job in LR. I rarely bracket my exposures, I should probably do it more often. |

Hi Drema, thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, I don't think I have multiple exposures. I will try saturating the yellows and oranges and work on the foundation. Thanks. |

Thanks for the comments Susan. I could get rid of the red shoe or tone it down. Michele also suggested cropping. |

Hello Susan, I really love this photo, in my opinion the shallow depth of field makes this image. The bold vivid colors grab my eye. I think that the white cup is quite distracting, perhaps it could be toned down or cloned out. |

Hello Cindy, I think that this is an interesting image. I like it when a photographer is willing to try different and unusual things. The way that you have adjusted the contrast in the original image helps to clarify what I am looking at. While I like the overall look of the image I do find it confusing, I'm not sure what I am supposed to be looking at. I'm not saying that is a bad thing but just my personal observation. |

Hello Chuck, I read Michele's comments and I tend to agree with him. I like the B&W image, especially how the bold diagonal lines are prominent. For the overall effect however I prefer the color image. In the color image the red shirt really focuses my attention on what I feel is the main subject and in the color version the monitor is less obtrusive. |

Thanks for the comments Michele. I tend to agree about cropping off the right side, I think it would also put the riders in a stronger position in the image. Thanks. |

Hi Marianne, this is a very strange photo, I love it. I think it goes well with Van Gogh, very impressionistic. The composition and exposure are right on, I think this is a powerful image. I kind of wish that the guy on the right did not have his head cut off but it doesn't really matter. |
