85 May 24 Comment Hi Don, I think this is a great image and wonderful subject. I tend to agree with Pete on the cropping suggestion, I would not want to lose the leading line of the road. I suspect that your image is level but it appears to be slightly off, probably due to the sloping landscape. May 12th

85 May 24 Comment Hello Richard, I like Pete's suggestion of a water abstract. However, given the image you have chosen to capture I think you have done quite well with it. I really like the scene, the colors are beautiful and the shapes in the ocean and the boat wakes are quite interesting. If the clouds are bother some I think that cropping out most of the sky, including the clouds, might resolve the cloud issue. May 7th
85 May 24 Comment Hello Drema, I think this is a great image. I really like the composition and the lighting. The centering doesn't bother me, even after Pete pointed it out. I do think I would like to see the red light in the top left taken out. May 7th
85 May 24 Comment Hi Lisa, I too really like the composition and lighting. I think the scene is wonderful, I love the colors and the turbulent water. I agree with Pete regarding the sky, I think that replacing it would be an improvement to the image. May 7th

I'm not sure there is a story here, someone once asked me what story I wanted to tell when I took a photo and I said I just take the photo because I like it and find it pretty or interesting. 92 May 24 Comment Great image Patti. I think the French Quarter is a wonderful place to photograph all kinds of interesting people. I really like the subject and how you have composed the image. To my eye being able to see the pizza sign down the street adds some depth and perspective to the image. Two thoughts, I think that squaring up the doorways would improve the image and to me the backpack is a bit too close to the right edge. Overall I think this is a great image. May 12th
92 May 24 Comment Hello Susan, I really like the composition and the way the fountain seems to be a halo around the people. I appreciate that I can see at least part of all but one of the faces. I do find the bright spot in the spray to be somewhat distracting. May 12th
92 May 24 Comment Hi Michele, I really like your image and the story it tells. It's colorful and fun, I like seeing the Mickey Mouse balloon. I think you did a great job with the shadows and lighting. To my eye the sky is a bit overdone. May 7th
