That looks very nice. I have never used the LAB color space, I shall look into it. |

Well Pete's not the last to comment this month, so I'll just say that I agree with all that Pete's said about the saturation and cropping; your changes based on his comments look good. LR is wonderful but it will let you make some unflattering changes to your images :) |

Hello Richard, I think this is a very nice image and well done. I like these sort of abstract photos that make me wonder what I am looking at. I guess you got just about every kind of comment on how to adjust the lighting and saturation, I agree that the lower left is a little too bright, I understand that you don't want to make the image look unnatural. I think this is a great idea and well handled. |

Hi Pete, great image. You find some amazing place to photograph and you certainly have the skills to capture great images. I agree that not all the sky is necessary but I don't think that all of it being there is a distraction. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi Drema, I just love this image as it is. I think the weird sky works very well with the buildings, it has such a futuristic other worldly look. I think that's a good observation that when it doubt you can just let the drone sit there. Anyhow, I think this is a great image. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi Don, I think this is a nice scene and it has certainly raised many recommendations and so forth. I agree with the suggestions on lighting. I also think that this might work well as a vertical image. In my opinion both the left and right sides could be cropped out, I don't feel that they are adding to the image. To my eye the sea stacks and the curved shoreline are the important parts of the image. |

Impressive image Lisa, I think the scene is very impressive. I understand your frustration about the lighting, unfortunately most of us don't have the luxury of waiting around for a day with the right lighting, etc. and we make the most of what we can get. By the way, I have had good results by making a panorama in both LR and Photoshop from video frame captures. |

Thanks for the comments Alex. I'm not sure of the status for travel to Iceland, I don't think that the majority was affected by the recent eruptions. It does seem to be a very unique place. |

Hi Drema, thanks for the comments. I like the idea of the van heading off. I am going to be giving a program on my trip n March, now I'm not sure how to show this image. The van heading off into the fog or look here are the people in my group. Decisions, decisions. |

Hello Patti, I think this is a very nice image. I have been to Jackson Square many times and there are usually some pretty interesting people there. I think it is great that she was willing to be photographed and you did well capturing her image. Personally, I don't think a wider f stop would help the background much but I do think that lightening her face a bit more might help to focus the viewers attention on her. |

Hi Marianne, I think this is a great image. It really tells a story and I think you captured the action at just the right time. The angle you shot from shows the faces of the onlookers and for me that really makes the photo. In my opinion you did well showing the complete scene and not just a close up of the main subject. |

Hello Susan, also agree about the crop, perhaps if just the brown towel on the right was cropped out. I find that towel right on the edge to be distracting. I think this is a lovely image, I like the colors and the mix of people, there is so much to look at. |

Hi Jeff, I think this is nicely done. I like the color version but prefer the B&W rendering. I think the B&W gives the image a feeling of some sci-fi 1920's movie. I agree that the black triangle is very distracting. |

Hi Michele, I love the image. I think you did a great job posing these guys and then capturing a memorable image. I definitely prefer the B&W rendering, I think that you have captured a very good range of tones. |

Hi Chuck, I think that Michele's comments are harsh but I have to agree with him. If Mary was sharper and glancing toward the camera I think it would be a much stronger image. |
