85 Mar 23 Reply Thanks for the comments Drema. I agree about the loss of detail and crunchy look. Mar 27th
85 Mar 23 Reply Hi Don, thanks for the comments. I will try the clarity first. The bracketing sounds like a great feature. Mar 21st
85 Mar 23 Reply Thanks for the comments Janos. I agree, the image is too bright. I think I have a tendency to over exposure and don't realize it until someone points it out to me. Mar 9th
85 Mar 23 Comment Hello Don, I think this is a great image of the coast. I like the saturated colors and the sky replacement. To my eye this is an image of the coast and the waves so I find the brown road or whatever to be distracting. I think that if you were to crop off most the the brown on the left and some of the brown shoreline on the bottom the viewer would then be focused on the beach. Also, I think that would create a leading line, the curved shoreline, to lead the viewers eyes. Mar 9th
85 Mar 23 Comment Hi Drema, I think that this is a very well done image. The composition is well done and I like the sky, it is interesting but does not dominate. I like to see all the details in the neighborhood around the church. I agree with Janos regarding the clock. In my opinion this is an image that could be shot strait on with good results. Mar 9th
85 Mar 23 Comment Hi Janos, I think this is a very interesting image that you have created. I like the composition and the overall sharpness, the clouds are quite dramatic. I love the grandeur of panoramic images, they are often, as in this case, breath taking. I would like to see an image of less that shows more details. I would like to go to Norway on a photo trip, your image inspires me to get something planned. Mar 9th
85 Mar 23 Comment Hi Pete, I think this is a beautiful image, I love sand dunes. It's great that the wind erased the tracks. I like the lighting, the sculpting of the dunes is very visible and gives the image an other worldly quality. Mar 8th
85 Mar 23 Comment Hi Lisa, I like what you did with the image. I like the original and I like your abstract. Janos is right about the dragon fly. In the abstract the bridge looks like it is made of balsa wood. Mar 8th

92 Mar 23 Reply Thanks Marianne. I see the rabbit. Mar 29th
92 Mar 23 Reply Hi Beth, I does look like she is miffed at him. Perhaps she is. I agree about the cat, to me the cat makes the image much more interesting. Mar 22nd
92 Mar 23 Reply Thanks for the comments Chuck. The B&W does look good. I did not crop the left side more because I like the end of the bench to be included. Mar 22nd
92 Mar 23 Comment Hi Beth, first of all let me say that I am not predisposed to B&W but I think it is the right choice for this image. I like the color but I think that the woman gets lost in the color image as I feel there is so much competing for attention. When I saw this I thought that it must be somewhere in Cuba, to me it has that sort of vibe. To my eye there is too much on the left but I don't know how to change that, I don't think that cropping off half of the purple stuff would be the right think to do. Mar 11th
92 Mar 23 Comment Hi Jeff, I think this is a great image. I like the composition and the exposure and focus are right on. Also, the interplay of the guys tells a story. The poster in the background really adds a lot to the image in my opinion. I think that you handled the reflections very well. Mar 11th
92 Mar 23 Comment Hi Chuck, I think this is a good story telling image, even without your description the viewer can tell this is some kind of information sharing gathering. I agree, the one guy doesn't look like he is onboard with whatever is being discussed. Too bad you could not get all of the guy by the tree but such is the life of a street photographer. I like the B&W rendering, the color looks good too but I think the B&W has more impact. Mar 11th
92 Mar 23 Comment Hi Marianne, I look forward to seeing your images. You seem to always capture something interesting. I think this is a great story telling image, everything captured in one frame. To my eye this is technically very well handled. The exposure is right on with good details in the highlights and shadows. The image is sharp and the composition is great and the B&W rendering perfect. Mar 9th
