85 Sep 22 Reply Thanks for the comments Janos. I agree that I should have left the crop circles in the image. Sep 29th
85 Sep 22 Reply Hi Drema, thanks for the comments. I agree that the circles should be shown intact. Sep 29th
85 Sep 22 Comment Hi Don, I think this is a wonderful landscape/cloudscape image. I agree with others that some of the foreground could be cropped to focus even more on the clouds and perhaps make even a more compelling image. I think Pete has some good suggestions about moving the focal point of the mountain by cropping just a bit on the right. As for the bright spot on the left I think that cloning it out would be preferable to cropping it out. Sep 29th
85 Sep 22 Comment Hi Janos, I think you did well in capturing the castle and the amazing shadows. I agree with Don that flying lower may have allowed you to focus on the castle and the great shadows while leaving out some of the distracting elements. I too shoot in automatic mode with my drone, I have not found any reason not too. Sep 29th
85 Sep 22 Comment Hi Julie, I think you have a very nice image. I like the way you have cropped it, I do agree that the buoy should be cloned out as I do find it quite distracting. I prefer the muted colors in the image you submitted, I think it gives a melancholy mood to the scene that evokes a strong emotion. Very well done. Sep 29th
85 Sep 22 Comment Hi Pete, I love this image. I think the way you presented it is just right, IMO the rebar adds something to the overall image, I think that cropping it out would not be an improvement. Regarding the slopping road, even though the image was level I think the illusion of being un-level is too powerful to ignore. Sep 29th
85 Sep 22 Comment Hi Drema, very nicely done. I think that you have a beautiful image. I agree that the water could be lightened up a bit. As far as the small white object I too would be conflicted by that. I guess the question would be do I want an image most pleasing to look at or an image that is a true representation of the subject. 85 Sep 22 Comment Hi Lisa, I'm late getting in comments this month as I had been traveling a bit. I like your landscapes but I really like your abstract images. I think you do a wonderful job of finding interesting and unusual subjects. Sep 29th

92 Sep 22 Reply I usually try to crop tight but I am starting to embrace the idea that doing so may not always be best. Sep 26th
92 Sep 22 Comment I think Marianne's idea of B&W might strengthen the image. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Hi Marianne, I think you did a wonderful job with this image. When you are shooting on the fly you don't always have time to compose just like you'd want to. This is a fun image, the little umbrella hats they are all wearing are hilarious. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Great image Jill. I love the way you composed the image to include a real sense of place, the food looks wonderful. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Great story telling image. Well composed with no overlapping characters and everyone appearing to be doing something. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Hi Beth, nice image. I like the B&W rendering and the composition. Although I can see Lance's point about leaving more space in the photo. I think the interaction of the couple is very engaging to the viewer. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Reply Thanks Jill, I appreciate the comments. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Reply Thanks for the comments Beth. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Reply Thanks for the comments Ian. Interestingly, Lance thinks I should not have lightened the girl. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Reply Hi Chuck, thanks for the comments. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Hi Marianne, thanks for the comments. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Thanks for the comments. Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Reply Thanks for the comments Lance. So, you would not have lightened the girl at all? Sep 25th
92 Sep 22 Comment Hi, Chuck. I'm late this month as I have been traveling a lot. I love the B&W rendering and I think the titled angle, while unconventional, really works for this image. Sep 25th
