85 Aug 22 Comment Hi Janos, I think this is a great image and I glad you were able to capture it. I agree that the trees should not be so bright so as to focus attention on the castle. Personally I would not want to crop off the top as I like the see the whole gardens on the upper left. Aug 20th
85 Aug 22 Comment Hi Pete, I think that your image is composed well and the golden hour issue does not bother me at all. I like the way that a drone can give one a great perspective for landscapes, which your image does very nicely. Aug 20th
85 Aug 22 Reply I agree with you, clone in the trees rather than crop. The composition is handled very well. Aug 20th
85 Aug 22 Reply Hello Janos, I agree with your comments. All the cars are moving but it is not evident. OriginallyI liked the idea of all the cars to show that this is a Jeep event but that does not come through. I'll go with just the one jeep. Thanks. Aug 14th
85 Aug 22 Reply Hi Pete, thanks for the comments. I wonder if odds are the same preference in all cultures? Aug 13th
85 Aug 22 Reply Thanks for clearing that up. I agree with you about the pond and car on the right, that is a better composition. I'm not sure why 3 is better than 2 or 4 but it seems to be. I wonder if we've been programmed to think that way. Aug 12th
85 Aug 22 Reply Hello Julie, welcome to the group. Thanks for the comments. After reading your comments I took another look at the original and I agree that the sky adds something positive to the image. Thanks again. Aug 11th
85 Aug 22 Reply Hi Drema, thanks for the comments. I agree about the brightness, I have trouble getting that right. I must be blind, I don't see the cut of car on the right. Aug 11th
85 Aug 22 Reply Thanks for the comments Don. I think you're right about cropping out the Jeeps on the left. Unfortunately I don't have a frame with both Jeeps kicking up dust. The one is on a steep incline and must be spinning his wheels. Aug 4th

92 Aug 22 Comment Hi Marianne, very nice image. I love the B&W and I think you have composed the image very well. You have a good eye to see images like this. Well done. Aug 20th
92 Aug 22 Comment Hi Lance, I am late to the discussion, I agree that the empty space makes this image. I don't really like the heads being cut off but if they were there then your image would not have invoked nearly as much discussion. Very interesting image, thanks for submitting it. Aug 20th
92 Aug 22 Reply Hi Jill, thanks for the comments. Aug 20th

92 Aug 22 Reply Thanks for the comments Beth. Aug 11th
92 Aug 22 Reply Hi Chuck, I see your point about the guy being there and I have gained appreciation for his presence. Aug 11th
92 Aug 22 Comment Hi Ian, I find this to be a very interesting and creative image. I think you have done a good job cropping the image to keep the viewer's eye focus on the subject. Good job spotting the recurring chains images and using them to great effect in your image. To my eye the vertical lines are not quite straight, it is not a big deal but it is somewhat distracting and could be fixed rather easily. Overall I think this a creative image and handled very well. Aug 10th
92 Aug 22 Comment Hi Jill, I like your image. I think you did a good job with the composition and lighting. Beyond the technical I think you have done a good job capturing some apparent mother / daughter interaction. This is not a big deal but I find the missing legs a little distracting. I know that when taking an image like this you have to be quick. To my eye this is a pleasing and interesting image. Aug 10th
92 Aug 22 Comment Hi Beth, I think this is a great image and I love the B&W rendering. To me it tells an interesting story and I like the brief eye contact made by the man, he gets a glimpse of you but it is not posed. If you lightened the shadow on his face would you get a better look at his eyes? Aug 10th
92 Aug 22 Comment Hi Chuck, nice image and an interesting angle. I agree with Ian about the umbrella guy. You don't have to clone him out just crop of a bit on the left side. Aug 10th
