85 Oct 21 Comment Sorry about the crash. I like this image, even though it is easily recognized it still makes an interesting abstract. I agree with Bob, it is busy, there are multiple images within this image. I think the tops of the palm trees themselves would make a good image. Oct 17th
85 Oct 21 Comment Hi Don, I really like this image. I like the way you have framed it without any sky showing. I think the curve if the shoreline and cliffs helps makes the composition very strong. To my eye the image is rather dark, I think that adding about 1/2 stop exposure would be an improvement. Very nice image. Oct 17th

85 Oct 21 Reply Hi Don, I usually shoot stills in raw format, that's my preference. However, when flying my drone I sometimes shoot video between still shots. Stills can be hard to get framed just right so I think the video capture gives me an opportunity to supplement my stills. About all I use video for is to capture single frames. Oct 8th

92 Oct 21 Reply Thanks for the comments Chuck. I agree, for our forum more context would be helpful. I have another image showing a little more of the scene, I personally don't care for it as much because the artist's face is showing. I took it after I had taken a few others. I was thinking in terms of a club competition when I submitted the original image, but now after more consideration I think some more the the scene would be better even for a club competition. 92 Oct 21 Reply Good point Jill. The ISO can usually be pushed higher than what we may think. Most cameras handled a moderately high ISO fairly well.
