A boat in the image would add some more interest. |

Hi Don, I like your image very much. I like how you framed and composed the building and landscape. I can understand how the title may lead the viewer to think they were going to see an image of Royce Hall but I think your composition is much more interesting than just Royce Hall. I think you could have gone higher but not much, if you did I think you would have a completely different image. Nicely done. |

I think this is a very nice image, IMO you handled the subject quite well. I like the colors and lighting and I think the lead in angle of the roadway adds a strong dynamic to the image. In my opinion the composition is right on, I think that at least one side of the bridge needs to be anchored but both is not necessary, to my eye having the far end anchored is best. Well done. |

Lovely image. I also think that abandoned buildings are photographically appealing. I like the angle you used, I think that the raised angle gives a sense of place that I don't think could be achieved from a ground level shot. I like the composition and I think you did a great job bringing out the colors and details. |

Thanks for the comments. Sky and clouds on the water is a good suggestion, I may give it a try. |

I love the colors and the action. I like the interaction between the woman and the vendor and the looks of the by-standers is priceless. It seems as though the vendor is being quite entertaining. Way to be ready to capture a special moment. |

I agree with Chuck about the watermark, I use one when I post on FB just because I can and as a matter of what? vanity?
Anyhow, I like the softness. When I first saw this I thought is this an image from the 50's. I agree with Chuck that a little less vignetting might work well. I think you did a good job capturing an interesting subject. |

Great image, tells a story although the details of story are not all that evident. I think the interaction is great, I think the black guy really makes this image, he draws me in. Well done. |

Hi Chuck, a very nice story telling image. I agree with Stuart about the cropping, it focuses attention on the main points of interest. This is the kind of image that causes the viewer to wonder what exactly is going on. Well done.

Hi Chuck, thanks for the comments. I have no reason for the f/14 setting, I don't think it was intentional. I probably had it set for the prior photo and forgot to change it. I'll try a vignette, what I should have done is put a narrow border around the image, the black of her clothes blends into the dark surrounding screen. |
