85 Nov 20 Comment Hi Bob, I think this is a great image. I love the subject and the composition. Personally, I would consider this to be more side lighting, I think it shows good details in the structures. I think the angle you have used, from the front quarter of the structure, gives a 3 dimensional view. I wouldn't change anything about this image. I think you find some wonderful subjects. Nov 3rd
85 Nov 20 Comment I like this very much. Another fine abstract, you seem to find some very interesting things to photograph. I think you have done a good job with the composition and framing and I like the bold colors. I find the whitish concrete around the sides to be distracting and I think that the image might be stronger if there were less of the concrete. Nov 3rd

92 Nov 20 Comment I like the composition and I think the B&W rendering is great. It gives the image a photojournalism look and tells a story. I do wish I could see the faces of the man and other child. Especially the man, I wonder what he is looking at (his phone perhaps?) Nov 11th
92 Nov 20 Reply Thanks Albert. I agree with your comment about the composition, seeing the whole shadow of the bike would be nice. I'm not sure why I did a vertical image, I just checked because I thought perhaps I had some other images I took of the woman and child so I could see what the surrounding looked like but I do not. I'm going to assume that I framed it as such to eliminate some chaotic elements. Anymore I try not to frame the original too tight and do the cropping in Lightroom. Nov 11th

92 Nov 20 Comment Great image. I agree with the positive comments made by the others. I think it really tells a story of the times. I think that lightening the shadows in the lower right may be helpful. I think that it is great that you got out there and recorded the scene. Nov 8th
92 Nov 20 Comment I think you have captured a great image. I agree with the comments the others have made. The big white spot does bother me, I tried cropping off about half of it but I did not like the results. I think having it there does add something to the overall image but I think it could be toned down. Nov 8th
92 Nov 20 Comment I think you have captured a nice candid image that tells a story. In my opinion there is much activity in the image and it gives the viewer something to think about. The first time I looked at this I was bothered by the woman being in front of the big orange sign, I am not so sure about that now. I really like the candid nature of the shot. Nov 8th

The black and white rendering is great, I think you have handled it well, you have captured all the details in his face as well as in the shadows of his robe. Nov 4th
92 Nov 20 Comment I like your image. I think the focus is right on with a good depth of field. To me the red boat really sets off the image and I like that you have a nice blue sky and the lone seagull. To my eye the horizon is slightly off horizontal. Also, I think the image would be stronger if the red boat was not right in the middle. All in all a very nice image, wish I could have been there. Nov 2nd
