Hi Don, Welcome to the group. Thanks for your comments. I too fly a Mavic Pro, prior to that I had a Yuneec Q500 which was a pretty good drone. I look forward to seeing your images. |

Hi Bob, very interesting image. I think that you manage to photograph some great subjects. I think the composition is well handled and I agree with Tony about the great looking sky. To my eye the main subject is right in the center of the image, I think the image might be a stronger if the main focus of the image were to the left or right of center, although I don't know which side I would suggest cropping. Perhaps a bit off of the left side as I think right side with mountains and the cloud formations is more interesting. |

Hi Tony, just watched your video. I think that it is very well done, from beginning to end. I love the video work and the scene is wonderful. |

I assume that by proper angle you mean keeping the image "straight". I do like how you have straightened it, to my eye the parallel road works very well with the curvy path. I like the houses and their colors as well. I think this is a well composed image with interesting shapes and colors. |

Thanks for the comments Charles. I agree that more sky would help the image. Perhaps I'll try adding some in just to see how it looks. |

Hi Gary, thanks for the comments. I agree with your suggestions. I do have a fondness for the tree on the right but I you are correct in that it does not add to the image, therefore it should go. I will check in from time to time. Take care. |

Hello Gary, I think that Gary made some very good suggestions, especially regarding instructions for night sky shots. I like your composition and the way the image fills the frame. To my eye the comet and the tree balance each other. How may images of the comet did you take? Did you go out more than one night? |

I like the original image. What you have done to it in post processing really makes it special. I think you have done a fine job with the composition and light control. |

Hi Charles, I think you have captured a great image. I like the composition, how all the elephants are facing the same way and how you can see each one's eye. I agree with Gary, I think that the right side is crowded, I think that some space could be added to the right side of the image in Photoshop and the background cloned in using one of the PS tools. I also think the elephants are a little too dark. That being said, I believe this is a wonderful image, thanks for sharing. |

I like your composition, I think the leading line of the path really strengthens the image. I like the way you handled the shadows and I think the greens are right on. I agree with Gary, I think the color of the water seems a little off. |

I agree with Gary, I love the slot canyons. I think your image is great, to my eye it is just what I remember seeing in person. I like how you handled the post processing, the shadows and colors are very good. Mostly though I like the composition, I love the way the works in the image. |

Very nice image, I like the lighting and shadow detail. I think the setting is quite interesting. To my eye the light on the faces of the mother and child is pleasing. In my opinion the image may be stronger if some of the right side were cropped off, I think the stonework is nice but I don't feel like it adds to the image of the family and I think cropping would improve the composition. |

Hi Geoff, I like your rendition of the image. I think I like it better than my original but I am not sure. I often have a difficult time determining which of two or three similar images I prefer. Thanks very much for your input. |

To my eye this is a well done portrait. I love the lighting on his face, I think that you have captured a lot of detail. I like that you avoided a merger of the brim of his hat with the image border. I think the reflections set a mood, the viewer (me in this case) cannot really tell what is being reflected. |

I think you have captured a very nice image, I like the B&W rendition. There is probably not much to be done but I find the background somewhat distracting, the newer cars kind of spoil the mood for me. I have been in similar situations myself and with street photography you can't always get what you want. That being said I think you did a fine job. |

Hi Chuck, I like your image and the composition. The added sky turned out very well I think. I also like the green flip-flop in the foreground. In my opinion you might lighten up the face of the person on the left. |

Hello Geoff, I think this is a great action story telling image. Wood chips flying and so on. I don't mind the missing feet, you cropped at what I think is an appropriate place on her legs. I think that the point merger of her backside is unfortunate but probably not much to be done about that now. I think the bright log behind her is somewhat distracting, perhaps that could be darkened a little. Overall, I think this is a great image. |

Hello Orest, I agree about the dichotomy, the juxtaposition of young love and not so young love. I think you have done a good job with the composition, I do agree with Marianne about the feet. That being said I don't mind too much not being able to see them. I don't see a better place to crop the bottom of the image and if you included the feet I think the image would be less intimate. I believe you have done a fine job with the image. |
