I think you will have a great time. Trinidad seems to be relatively poor but the people are wonderful and photo opportunities abound. |

Thanks for the feedback and the reminder to put my bio out there. This photo was taken in Trinidad, Cuba. I had virtually no interaction with the subject, I was walking down a street, saw her, put my camera up to my eye and took her photo. If she was aware of it she did not indicate it. I rarely take formal or semi-formal portraits but when I do I too like a dark or plain background. I darkened up the background in this photo and, based on your comments, I think I will darken it a little more but I want it to be obvious to the viewer that it is a street photograph. |

Interesting image. If I understand it the message is that people are cautious about entering into medical test and procedures. The hand on the door conveys that message. As far as health care in the US, some doctors are motivated to prescribe more drugs and order more tests than necessary. I don't think it is widespread but sometimes people give in to the lure of more and more money. |
