Hi John
This is a beautiful photo.
For me, the focus point is the lake, which is supported by far away mountains and nearby rocks. In my opinion, too much rocks shown in the photo do not contribute much, taking the focus away from the lake. I think it is a good idea to crop from below keeping little rocks as possible.
It would have been much better if the tree on the left side is shown properly with a gap. |

Hi Steve
I think you have used another photo to edit the image. The original you have given is apparently different from the photo that you have edited.
In your edited photo, only the bird with opened wings is clear, the others are blurred. However, the original photo you have shown has more birds with good focus. I think it is a good idea to edit the original photo so that all birds are in good focus. |

Hi Thorro
It is unfortunate that the background is bit busy. I like the striking blue color of the boat. You have managed to capture the boat with good details. |

Thanks Jim
I used different focal lengths for stacking. |

Hi Jim
Good photo. You have taken the photo in such a way to show good details of the bird.
It has been a busy period for me. Sorry for the late response. I like the second image created by Steve. It highlights the bird and reduces the color impact of the background. Water looks bit blurred. |
