I think your assessment of your image is right on. One suggestion is to put some light on the big bush in the bottom left, which my help anchor the foreground. I attached a revised image to see if that would work for you.

You crafted a serene fine art image. I have seen other images of this beach with massive waves. To tame the waves with a long exposure and craft the lighting and tone make a lovely image. I hope you have wall space to hang this one.

What a nice layout. AS far as your text goes, I think it works both ways. If I had to choice one, I would put the text on the bottom. As far as saving your files, I would save the image in both jpeg and png. The jpeg would be to share with the client or potential clients. The png would be for any changes you may want to make in the future, like changing the backgrounds.
