Thanks for your comments and suggestions. This was taken from a small boat on the way to some Mayan Ruins, and I felt like Indiana Jones when we spotted this guy posing for us.

Thanks for your comments and feedback. In regards to distance and lens, we were in a boat and maybe 20 feet from the base of the tree. I had a 70-350 lens mounted on a cropped sensor Sony A6400. I was at 350 on the lens and with a 1.5 crop factor had the equivalent of a 525mm lens.

WOW!!! What a great capture. You staged the image well and the B&W conversion is right on. I would have never noticed the bottom of the cleat if you hadn't pointed it out. I think some of the crop suggestions may work. I don't think I would touch his skin tones. I think you captured him in such a realistic form. Very well done. I would enter this image in a contest.

Avery nice capture. The yellow sunflower works well against the blue sky. Your shallow depth of field works well to bring out the details in the sunflower. Well captured and processed.
