Hi Darcy,
I think your B&W conversion works well with this image.

Hi Karen,
A nice composition that works well for your assignment. I agree with Ingrid that you may want to lighten the sky a bit to bring out the tree line a little more.
Best regards,

Hi Tom,
Sorry for the delayed post. I agree with all the previous comments, this is a lovely composition and your transformation works well. I am not sure I would change much. Maybe darken the lower right corner, but my eyes start in the center and all the other highlights allow me to wander around the image. I think the image works well the way you presented it.
Best regards,

Hi Erin,
You have a real nice capture with a lot of atmosphere. I think with a little bit of extra work, this can be even better. I agree with Karen and Darcy that you should consider cropping out the building on the left. I also like Tom's example and I may suggest that you try converting the image all the way to B&W. Have fun in Bostom.
Best regards,
Greg |

Hi Darcy,
A very nice image. Your crop works well, and the curves add a sense of movement. One suggestion would be to play around with converting to B&W. This image has a feel of a Fine Art image.
Best regards,

Hi Ingrid,
A lovely winter scene. A nice contrast between the tree and the building, and the vertical line work well.

Hi Ingrid,
Thanks for your comments and feedback. This pelican was very content floating about 10 feet from me and posing for a long while. He posed and I shot.
