Hi Karen,
Thank you for your comments and feedback. I chose the collage format because I came back with over 3000 images from this trip and as I sorted through my images, I had some themes that I thought would be fun to share with our group. My goal was to try to give the viewer a sense of place.

Hi Erin,
I agree with your assessment regarding the overall focus. I am not sure you are handheld or on a tripod. If you are on a tripod you may want to try some focus stacking. Tom does a really good job with multiple images. I would suggest you start with 2 and blend them in photoshop. I also think that the orange against the green background works well in the original image.

Your image has a nice dark and cinematic feel to it. Your processing gives me the feeling of this island popping up in the middle of nowhere. I also like how the colors work together to create that dark mood.
