14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Erin,
What a nice portrait of Rocky. I think you crop works, and masking has brought out the texture in his fur. What I like most is that having the stick in his mouth, you have capture some of his character.

Greg

14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Tom,
What a striking image. Beside the palette and reflections, I see wonderful leading line, triangles, and great symmetry with the horizon in the middle. A well composed and captured image.

14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Darcy,
Wild horses are a great subject, and I like your decision to convert to B&W. I just have 2 suggestions. First, see if you can darken the foreground and background and lighten the horses to made them stand out more. Second, try a 16x9 crop to eliminate some of the foreground, and to make the subject stand out more.
A nice capture.

Greg

14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Karen,
A very nice image that I think will meet your camera club assignment. I agree with Darcy, you may want to try to up the greens a little more to add some contrast. Your "S" curve works well in leading the viewer's eye into the scene.
Best regards,
Greg

14 Apr 24 Comment Hi Ingrid,
I think you were successful in achieving your goal of minimalistic graphic image. The shapes and textures were captured well. I enjoyed reading your conversation with Lance. He makes a few good points. Just one suggestion. You may want to check your horizontal alignment. The step seems to drop from right to left.
All in all, a very nice capture.
Best regards,
Greg
