14 Mar 22 Comment Hi Darcy,
I really like the simplicity and color palette in your image. At first the orientation threw me, but the more I looked at the image, I appreciated your intention to have it off kilter. It works for me.

Greg

14 Mar 22 Reply Hi Ingrid,
Thanks for sharing your processing steps. It has given me a few ideas about processing some of my floral image. To my eye, I think you made the right decision to run the top and bottom petals off the edges. Again, you created a very strong image.
Best regards,
Greg

14 Mar 22 Comment Hi Karen,
A very nice restoration. I think the colors add to help age this image. If you think you may want to do more restorations, you may want to look into Nik Silver Efex Pro. It has some presets that let you mimic film types and grain.
All in all, I think you did a fine job with this restoration. I tried to add a level adjustment layer in Photoshop just to darken up the blacks just a bit.
Best regards,
Greg

14 Mar 22 Comment Xiao,
Another fine technically created image. The natural light and your post processing work well with this portrait. I was wondering if you ever experiment with textures or filter in your post processing?
Best regards,
Greg

14 Mar 22 Comment Hi Tom,
I think your experiment turned out really well. The color palette is soft and gives the image quiet feel. Your focus is right on. Your lighting work turned out well and I like what you did with your water, milk and food coloring. All in all, you made a very nice image.
Best regards,
Greg
