Thanks for sharing your image of Pied Kingfisher. I like the color palette and the Black and White of the bird really stands out against the background. I agree with Arun that it would have been better to have the bird flying into the frame.
I am not sure about this image size, but if it is too small, when enlarged the pixels will fall apart which seem to be happening a bit with the bird.
I think the uniqueness of the subject and the moment of capture still makes this a pleasing image.

Just a few last thoughts. Lighting will be a big key for product photography. You may want to check online to review a few tutorials. One lighting scheme which may interest you is light painting (a long exposure with a moving light source). Best of luck with your project.

14 Aug 20 Comment Xiao, I think you picked an interesting direction to go in. Your image looks a little flat. I think you may want to consider how to add depth and also experiment with different backgrounds. I did 2 quick images, one with a drop shadow and one with a reflection created in photoshop. I look forward to see how you progress on your journey.

A really nice image. I like the framing within the frame. I agree with Tom's comments regarding the sky. It appears to have a bit of a green tint.
