To my fellow PSA Group 14 Members,
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holiday season. Being new to PSA, I am starting to realize that I have just started a journey, and I am looking forward to 2019 to continue to receive your comments and continue to grow photographically.
Best regards,
Greg

Eleanor, thank you for your comments. I like going back to photos that didn't quite make it on their own, to see if I can pull something together with plugins. The bridge is the Manhattan Bridge, which is the 1st bridge north of the Brooklyn Bridge. The building framed by the lower arch is the Empire State Building. |

I agree that the color version works for me. The color version brings out the regal character of the horse. Very nice picture. |

What a wonderful picture. Having the water as both the background and foreground really make the boys, their trunk and buckets pop with color. I think Oliver's crop works for me. |

I have had Topaz for a bunch of years, but never had any problems with the different plugins. I tried downloading Studio but I am currently running Windows 7, so my computer will not load Studio. If you are on a more current platform, you may want to try downloading Studio and see if Detail and Restyle will work through Studio. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. |

I agree with Oliver, this is a really nice image. I like your concept and I am planning on trying some images using dimpled glass.
Very well done. |

I really like this image. The water ripples make for an interesting image. Just a couple of thoughts. My eyes are drawn to the right side of the image and that may make an interesting abstract just by itself. Another thought was to darken the water which will make the duck and it's reflection the main subject. I used the radial filter in Camera Raw and it seemed to bring the reflection out a bit. All in all, I like what is going on in this picture.

I really like this photo. I think that the removal of the background made this a stronger image. I really like the texture in the Egret's breast and also the branch. The white against the black background really works for me. One thought as an alternative maybe to try a square crop, but I do like the image just the way it is. |
