Thank you for the sepia suggestion, Yvonne. I like your version, but my feeling is that judges tend to prefer monochrome images to be b&w. I certainly will give it a go in sepia though and see what reaction I get. |

Thank you for having a go at reworking the b&w treatment, Gregory. My version does have a vignette, but I'll try making the dark areas a little darker. |

Good subject matter - simple and well lit. I wonder about the black behind the tree trunks though- I would prefer to see a little detail. |

Yvonne, I think this is an excellent treatment of your subject. It's very effective and I really like the image. Just one comment- there's a little blob under her chin which I would prefer to remove. |
