I have a question. I use Photoshop PS5 and 2 years ago I purchased 9 Topaz plugins, 7 of which work well and I use these quite frequently. The other 2, Detail 3 and Restyle have never worked on my computer or that of my husband. Last month I contacted Topaz about this- i know I should have done it sooner, but the others work well and do so much so i didn't bother at the time. I was hoping they would be able to tell me what the problem is- so I could use them. I've written emails twice and they haven't replied. Has anyone else had problems with their Topaz filters? |

Once again, I agree with all the comments made. I'm just wondering...are any of the members of this group Camera Club judges? You all express your opinions so knowledgeably! As a newcomer to the PSA, I think i'm fortunate to have been added to this group! |

Very interesting collection of items, well arranged in this image. Sepia does work well in this antique type of image. |

I agree with the above comments. I prefer the colored version with the water darkened. Nice image! |

Yes, I agree, i definitely prefer the colored version! The blues and gold with the white and contrasting background work so well together. Very nice image! Well captured! |

Thank you Arun and Oliver for your comments. I agree that the darkening of the rocks in the foreground does help the image. Also the desaturation of the yellow water - I had already desaturated it a bit- however it is always hard to know the balance between what is authentic and what works best as art. i actually like it both ways. I have since applied a light vignette to the image to increase the focus on the boys. |
