Very touch series of images Mark. Shows even wildlife interactions are no less than human interactions. The only thing I might consider doing is to reduce the bg highlights of the waves to enhance further... Beautiful. |

Stunning image Richard! My first look/reaction of your original posting was "Man, if only those twigs were removed on the right...". As I scrolled down, I see our master has already covered that part and you have done the bit necessary :)
Amazing capture and presentation of the image in comments section. Brilliant colors and well balanced saturation overall. |

Hi Larry, as always, we should give it for your patience to explain so much and make us belong to that environment. Like Jason stated, I like the motion blur of the water in the bg with still subject in fore front showing the action. Beautiful lighting and excellent details of the bird. I understand and have experienced the difficulty to retain the right level of highlights/shadows on Black or White birds. This is very well balanced here. |

Hi Jason, a cute and lovely image. We always love to watch the babies in wildlife. Very nice eye level shot along with that small band of the bank shown in the bg. |

Wow! Intense and powerful image Todd. I loved this image to show the gripping of the weather and the ruggedness of these giants. I am not sure if it's your intent or is it me seeing some kind of vintage feeling overall. It is taking us to primitive age or into a time where we had only basic photographic equipment.
I liked the second version as shared by Mark with the enhancements. |

Very intriguing image Michael! A perfect picture to give definition for the name IMO. I personally liked the second image you posted in the comments due to few reasons a) clear view of eyes, b) interesting shape of the mouth, c) good enough details inside the mouth to make it intrigue
I agree about the grass blade, it is not a big distraction as there is sufficient emphasis on the main area. Instead, it give the feeling of very nature / habitat.
Loved the images. Thanks for sharing. First time I saw this snake.
And my hearty congratulations to you for making it to April PSA Digital Dialog Members Showcase. |
