Good eye for detail and presentation of the simple & common subject (although it is uncommon to see such exceptions as you intend to show the viewer).
Strange! For some reason, as I see this image on the screen, I smell a fresh carrot around me. ;)
It also looks like a baby's foot with long nails. A weird imagination though... |

Lovely colors and post processing. Portrait crop is good too. However, Landscape would have shown more of the drama in the overall frame & sky I felt. |

The composition is perfect Larry! Justifies your write up about composition. Superb colors all across. Best part is "Whites are Whites!" :-)
Removal of the stick in front of the triangular rock at the bottom is very thoughtful and has worked well too.
Agree with Richard about your adventure. Your numb toes have brought out yet another master piece from you.
I see there is a difference between processed & original image. Is that wood on the top right an addition in PP? While it is subtly adding a flavor to the image, I feel it can be toned down a bit to avoid taking off viewers' attention from the falls. |

Good image of showing bird's parenting and it's habitat Wayne. I noticed the image is struggling a bit on the sharpness front (may be due to f4.0?)
Couple of distractions if you could manage that should enhance the image look. 1. De-highlight the birds in the foreground 2. Cloning off the snow behind the chick.
I liked the overall image especially, rim light effect of the golden light on the birds.
