15 Apr 22 Comment Rick, I just love this picture, especially the color palette. I really like how the geometric shapes gave such definition to his face. Just beautiful and yes, very handsome! Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Comment Billy, nice shot. Must have been a fun assignment. I do think you accomplished your objective. I do see your humor in the old truck and speed. Fun shot! Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Comment Linda, great shot! The reflection goes on forever. Would make a very interesting puzzle! I love it! Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Comment Christine, nice capture. I'm with Joan, the spray is distracting. Even if you bring the crop in on the right-hand side to the edge of the spray spout, you lose a lot of people, so it defeats the purpose. Nice composition though. Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Comment Kirsti, I do like this photo. There is a lot of action in the middle alley without all the lights in different shapes and sizes. For me, I would have to narrow it down to block out the buildings and cars in the front of the image. I realize how the buildings allow it to funnel down, but the colors are so sharp and there is so much action in the middle that I think it deserves more of one's attention. So striking! Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Comment Joan, a very interesting imagination as a golf course. Not thinking it would be something I would want to play. I also like how you have used contrast to enhance and sharpen the rocks. Not sure the sun star works for me, maybe if it were more of a narrow shot with the sun star in the sky, then the mountain then the golf course. You were brave to walk out there! Very interesting photo. Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Joan. It was a real macaw. I left the top of the beak in at the bottom left hand corner. I wanted more beak, less top of head, but it didn't look better. I can see where Kirsti's crop suggestion would take out a lot of the skin w/pin feathers at the bottom of the eye. It is certainly an interesting shot. Apr 25th
15 Apr 22 Reply Thank you Kirsti, I see what you are saying about the crop. You may be right that it allows for more of the focus on the eye itself. Apr 25th
