Thank you, Joan. Exactly what I was looking for - does it tell the story up front or did you have to go looking? Is going looking better than having the story up front? My first impression when I saw it was, what a wonderful quilt block of colors it would make. I saw the history of the patch jobs much later when I sat and thought if I wanted to do anything to it or leave it as is. If it doesn't tell the story of its history of patch jobs through the ages, what can/should I do differently? Isn't that what photography is all about? The story it tells? |

Thank you, Billy. I agree, different textures for sure with each repair. |

I totally agree about the story it could tell. Maybe one day I will write it. Thank you. |

Kirsti, does this right-side crop work? |

Kirsti, certainly an inviting scene. I just want to sit on that front rock and soak in the colors and healing they offer. It works! Just striking! |

Hi Rick, you accomplished your goal for sure. I love how you have blended the different elements. Colors are sharp and crisp. Certainly, an inviting mystery to behold. |

Joan, one of those shots where I am looking for one of those tree swings :-) It is beautiful and inviting. Adding the different sky is interesting. I almost want it less big, and more horizontal clouds in that area to the left to blend all the elements. Neat old tree through! |

Christine, what an impressive image. I love the cloud formations and how they sit on the bay. Sort of like "in the midst of the storm" there is a silver lining. |

Billy you class sounds like a fun class. I have to say that I prefer the image Kirsti presented much better. Your image is very stark and blunt. I overlook the streetlamp, whereas adding the softness and light that Kirsti did brings out that architectural style you were looking for in a more appealing way. Love the colors though. |

Kirsti, thank you. I agree, the right border needs cropped to bring it into the plaster that frames it. It is a striking wall for sure. |
