Kirsti, interesting concept for sure. I like it and it stands on its own with your description. But when I saw the original picture with the trees, etc., I lost interest because it wasn't like the original. That isn't a bad thing, I love it the way you did it for the presentation, but I want one or the other, not knowing about the original if that makes sense. If you are saying it is the "world" then like said above, it needs to be more blues and whites because that is how we see the "world" from space. Yet, the photographers license allows us to add in the yellows and greens because that is how we see our "world" from our vantage point. Would make a beautiful piece of jewelry. Nice work. |

I agree with Joan, he could hang on my wall just resting in the bed of leaves with out them splashed all over him :-) Nice overlay though, sort of psychedelic, reminds me of one of those balls in dance halls that spins around with patterns of light.
Nice shot and model either way :-)

Billy, I've been there and seen those waters. You have captured the powerful churning of same. I like the photo changed as Kirsti suggested because it gives room for the kayaker to move into. Great change of subjects! |

Joan, I love this photo and yes, the black & white version gives the photo strength. The power of the steam engine is washed out in the color photo. Beautiful capture. |

Thank you Rick. It was the glint from the waterdrops that first caught my attention. I've not seen webs with so many drops on them, I am sure the heavy dew contributed to this one. |

Thank you Joan. I have seen other webs up in Northern California, but none as beautiful as this one. With the heavy dew, it laced the web and the drops were just glistening. On the way back to the ship I stopped by to take another picture of it with the sun out and the magic was gone, it was just a web. |

Thank you Billy. At first it was just a spider web, but as I looked at it longer, I saw how everything outside of the web was coming together to create something beautiful. |

Kirsti, thank you so much! I agree the longer format is better. I did square it up but didn't like it. Wasn't characteristic of a web. |
