Joan, there is nothing out of place with your photo. I love the softness of color and highlighting of dunes. And I know this is just me, but my eye keeps going to the tree in the left hand corner. I tell it "no" but it wants to slide off the dune each time. Such a serene moment. Thank you for sharing. |

Linda, I agree with all the comments above. I agree it needs to be cropped, but I don't necessarily like it coming from the door though the door is the perfect spot. Hope this will make sense - then the wide door is cropped shorter, it seems to push the photo to a more taller photo and then I think it loses the lady in red by making her thinner, almost looking squished. Either way, great photo. Thank you for sharing. |

Billy, such a soft moment. I agree with all the comments above. It is just one of those photos you cherish and for me, the subject is the baby, the parents are ancillary. Thank you for sharing. |

Rick, I love your flower, so much definition and the colors are so calming. I like it as Joan did it with the black behind it so it stands out on its own. Thank you for sharing.

Joan, thank you. So the workshop with Bryan Peterson was shot early morning so it may have been the sun instead of the moon and covered with the fire smoke that was going on. I understand what you are saying about darkening it for the silhouette effect. The birds had been shot as they were that morning. As for Bryan, we were on the ground shooting up as he jumped in the air on a table. I probably should darken the sunrise colors, but I did great just to get him and the birds pasted in. I should change the title I guess, "When Bryan jumped over the sun." Thank you again Joan. |
