Kristi, I want to like this photo, but I can't see it. I can see the highlighted areas of the face outline, but I want more. It is just me though, so not a bad thing. The face is an amazing face but it is too dark for me. The 3rd one at the bottom or above my reply is what I am looking for, very beautiful and mysterious. Reminds me of the women who are out on the rock jetties waiting for their men to come home from the sea. |

I thought it looked like a quilt! Very creative! I enjoy the colors immensely. I would love to hang this photo! Just evokes the imagination into seeing all sorts of things. Thank you for sharing. |

Joan, I'm always a fan, but the dark colors of this photo are a distraction to me. Tidal pools can be very colorful, but more blended. The Limpets are covered normally, the rocks might be encrusted with muscles. I guess because I haven't seen anything like this I can't grab onto it. Maybe as a black and white I would like it much better. Sorry :-( |

David, there may be 3 windows, but there are also 3 main objects in each window. Buildings/boats. Color is beautiful and vibrant. I love Rockport, MA, spent many days there during my Army assignment in Ft. Devens. A very unique fishing village in the 70s. Good luck in the salon! |

Bob, love this image in a strange way. I see your bottom motion as if the trunks are in water :-) One of those photos that you could imagine in many different scenarios. Beautiful color! |

Kristi, thank you for your suggestions as well. There are no leaves on this plant, it is a cactus and the hair around it is the "leaf" per se. I thought there might be a pod that it came out of but couldn't find that either. I will definitely do the square crop and see how that looks. Thank you again!

Bob, thank you for your suggestion. I did not crop this at all. I can see what you are saying about getting a more square photo to accent the middle star. I understand that having the picture run to the borders isn't necessarily desired, but I took this photo awhile ago before I really understood that concept. |
