Thank you Joan, always appreciate your insight. Because the colors are representative of the color changes my burn went through, I'm reluctant to change/enhance them. While I agree that changing might make for a more interesting photograph, it would no longer represent the background story of my burn. It was neat shooting through that type of window though and I am looking for that kind of glass pane to use on things in the future. I will have to figure out how to get motion behind it though. I realize I'm presenting some odd photos but it is a learning experience for me to read the comments to see what others see. |

Kristi, Bob is correct - it doesn't matter whether or not we like it, do you like it? That is all that matters. I am stuck on the title and trying to relate it to the picture and the backstory. Like you were with mine :-) I think the story would be in the abandoned houses and the secrets they hold. I can imagine the escape from the darkness of the abandoned houses to a ray of sunlight in the trees outside, but I can't make it fit this picture. It is interesting. Sorry I didn't respond sooner, my new skin is still healing and I can't do much stretching of it yet and typing does that. Congratulations on Shaman getting accepted! |

There is such a ethereal quality to this photo. Beautiful as a water color for sure and would make a great cross-stitch because of the color variations. How you made it is way beyond my understanding in PS, but I love it. Just amazing! |

Bob, my almost favorite place in the states. You have captured its spirit without the man-made interruptions. Dawn there is beautiful and the peacefulness relayed by the photograph of a place in time that was anything but peaceful. They, the spirits that remain there, are at peace now. Thank you so much for sharing this. |

I love Rainbows - no two are the same. Same colors, but very different, even when together. I like how it is brightest at the beginning of it on the ground. Just lights up the structures on top of the hillside. Aren't cell phone cameras amazing! |

Thank you Kristi. See my reply to Bob's response above for the "new skin" title and how it came to be. As to how it was taken - just used my cell phone to shoot the window pane as a car(s) went by outside. The structure of the window pane which is a block that is wavy so to speak in its structure. It defuses anything outside when you look at it from the inside. Those color splashes are cars driving past the window. If you look almost in the middle, there is a white car at a stop sign that is mostly focused. If I did anything, I think I would want to defuse it so it isn't in focus. Thoughts? |

Bob, thank you! Looking into Luminar. The title which unless you know the background story, would make no sense I guess. I spent 6 wks being treated for a 2nd/3rd degree burn on my hand recently. This window pane was in the room I was in each week. Interestingly enough, each week as the color of the skin on my hand went through its changes, sometimes sloughing off, sometimes being pulled off, I would concentrate on the window for diversion. Each week the majority of cars going by the window would be the color of the skin for that week. The last week, all the colors my skin had gone through in the healing - those colors of cars went by - hence the "new skin" title. I have a hard time with titling anything because if you don't know the back story, nothing makes sense. |

Rick, thank you for your suggestions. Not sure what multi-color strokes is. This is the original photo from the window, I did nothing to it. I am looking into Luminar, you all have convinced me. |
