I love lighthouses where ever they are. I enjoy it as Black & White. The balance is striking. Thank you for sharing. |

David, I enjoy this photo, its color is intriguing. Nice job. While the building is so prominent, for me it is the tail lights that catch my attention. |

Rick, really neat photo! Aren't cellphone cameras amazing! Love the sharpness of the grasshopper, one could just reach out and touch him. Flowers surrounding him are the perfect frame. |

Bob, I know this fishing shack in Rockport, Mass. I was there in '75 -'76 and back in the early 80s. It got hit by a hurricane or nor'easter sometime between then. I have a 70s photo but it had not been rebuilt the last time I was there. Such an iconic photograph. I like what you did with it, the texture and reflection. Brings back good memories. |

Thank you Joan. I am having fun and gaining confidence when I have no clue what I am taking a picture of and it actually comes out pretty nice. The comments are helping me to learn better discernment in my photos. I see photos that others have taken and aspire to shoot that quality as well. My post processing is limited so I shoot for the correct shot first :-)

Thank you Bob. I get it about the title. A bee would have been the collector and the flower the producer :-) I was at a loss for a title. |

Thank you Kristi, the sharpness was a surprise to me as well. I've got to find a place to get my Nikon fixed as it is not talking to my lenses. As such, I've been depending on my cellphone and it does a pretty good job. Most of the time I have no clue what I am taking a picture of as the screen is dark with the sun. Every picture is a surprise! I loved the colors in this one and the pollen. Waited for a bee but none came. |
