Hi David: Welcome to the group! You will find some great advice here for sure. So I sometimes have trouble saying what I think and it gets misconstrued. Please ask if you find that happening. I don't usually read titles first, but for some reason I did with this one. "Left for Dead" is a great title, but I expected to see "dead". Your tractor isn't rusted enough and looks alive still (to me). The darker storm clouds would fit the "dead" theme as you did in the photo above that you reworked and the grass looks too green and healthy. By darkening that, it allows me to feel like it is dead. Overall it is an intriguing photograph and has given me lots to think about. The green vines going up the tractor are okay because the end result is they will grow and cover the tractor. Just what I see...not necessarily correct. Look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. |

Thanks Rick. I haven't gotten either programs yet, but have been looking at them. Trying to get moved to Arizona in the next 3 weeks. I will get serious with them as soon as settled. I'm so excited to take everyone's advice and see the results. |

I like it with the vignette. Grab that moon that Rick has and put it in the right hand corner near the middle :-) |

Kirsti, really neat image! I think I like it best without the rock and love the fog. but I feel something is missing and I'm not sure what. The image holds my attention but my eyes keep wanting to go to the top of the print where it is lighter. Very interesting the story behind it. thank you for sharing. |

Rick, nice composition and creative additions. I almost wish there was less trees, etc. in the foreground. I love the birds in the sky, the sunrise colors and the moon ties it all together. Another home run in my book. |

Bob, beautiful and serene. The sea grass does work well into the setting. Impressive! |

Joan, BEAUTIFUL, SIMPLE and yet awe inspiring. Never thought of cloning a spot that blurry if I had some in focus. Reminds me of the Japanese cherry blossoms. Thank you for sharin. |

Thank you all, I appreciate your comments. Getting the sharpness of the waving hands (filaments) wasn't easy because of the wind, but I finally got one with everything sharp. |
