Rick,
First photo is the big one, or the original one off to the right hand side? Reducing highlights as in Photoshop erasing and replacing the areas?
Thank you, stay safe! |

Joan, I love this photo and I am immediately drawn to the swan and the reflection. I like how the water is in movement, or appears to be, but wish all that grass above the swan was gone. I could see a ethereal sky above the water where all you see is the swan and its reflection. Perhaps some kind of background that has more of a fairy tale like feel? Or moon rising? I don't know, just playing with suggestions. I do love that swan and its posturing. Just beautiful. |

I will get rid of the highlights doing what Joan suggested. These were the brightest peppers I had ever seen. Do you think they would look good with some water drops on them? They do have a sprinkler system above that sprays a fine mist. I didn't think about that until just now. |

Rick, you always amaze with your composite pictures! I would love to come take a class on how you even start to do something like this if you ever decide to have one! I can see what Larry is saying about the busy back ground, but I see it as the universe and the stars and planets. Though I would almost like to see it as a dark sky when the stars would be out, or a grayish color. Are the two men sitting on a seat so to speak and flying on the world and carpet? I like that they are very plain and not cosmic :-) Thank you for sharing another of your creations with us, you are inspirational! |

Bob, I love your shrimp boats! I agree about cropping out the boat nose and lines on the left side. The ones that are there are such a neat composition of color and the blurriness of the reflection suggests movement of the water which is fine. This would make a really neat puzzle! It reminds me of the Shrimp boats at Rockport, MA. Again, very nice shot. |

Thank you Joan! The colors are what attracted me. I didn't crop, it is as it was taken. I was on my knees in the grocery store, up close and personal. I will do what you suggested in Photoshop, thank you. If I were to enter this in a PSA or S4C competition, would it be under "Color?" I can enter it as food in the fair. Thank you again.

Thank you Larry, I understand what you are saying about your eyes bouncing from one to the next stem as mine do as well. With the original one that has only one stem, I see it and my eyes are drawn up to all the color. Doesn't an abstract have no definite shape? I like the original because it has one stem, but a lot of highlights. I will try as Joan suggested below to brush it out. I like the 2nd one (the two stems) only because the peppers don't have the bright spots. |

Thank you Linda. I was just walking down the isle and saw the red and yellow peppers and just had to take a picture. Of course people thought I was strange, but I couldn't get the picture out of my mind. |
