I have cropped it again to lessen the amount of sand in the top. A vignette seems to take away from the main focus. I went to a white vignette and that looked wicked but again, took away from the blue creature. Would this be in Nature and would anything I've done so far (crop) be considered changing it so it couldn't be in that category? |

Very interesting photo. I do like the hand shadow on his face, it accentuates his eyes. Thank you for sharing. |

So at first, it seemed to blurry to me with the wings and the background out of focus, then I caught the eyes and the intensity took over and I forgot the blur. Yes, looks like he/she has zeroed in on me. I really like it. I hope you got out of the way before it found you :-) |

I see, you had the one eye and created the second eye so it looks like a face - neat! I like it! You are creative! |

I can't improve or disagree with anything said above. A very moving tribute to the photo and its story. I almost wish you were at the same level as the women in the photo instead of looking down on them. Beautiful and colorful capture though. |

Bob, I too like the original image best. I think what you did with the photo is very creative and interesting however. Really neat capture. |

Hi all, thank you for your comments. I am posting a cropped photo as you suggested. I'm not sure I like it without the sand at the top, perhaps the sand highlighted the sea creature? What are you thoughts? |
