Thanks Rick. Yes I redid the image at your suggestion and as you can see below it fixed itself. I will work on removing the tall girl. I learn a lot of "things to do in the future" and I'm finding I sometimes skip a shot because I can't get that opening or bottom. So I have to quit being so picky :-) Thank you all for your suggestions. |

Rick, can't wait to see how it came out. Maybe a series is in your future. Sitting on a cloud, walking on a cloud, standing on a cloud, waiting on a cloud, running on a cloud …. |

Thank you Charles, something to consider. Not my children, so I could take out the tall girl and do as you suggested. I'll see what I can do. Yes, I think I downsized it wrong for submitting for this month. Will try again :-) |

Really neat photo! I saw a photo submitted to Serge Ramelli and it was of clouds and then a smallish black silhouette of a man was set on the clouds - "Walking on Clouds" was the title. Great idea you have. Get a swimming person and then you could have "Swimming in the clouds" or this one even. Nicely done! |

Shame on the judge for not liking the Egret! I think he is mysterious and it is amazing work! I got lost just trying to follow the process to do that, but would like to try one day. the trees are light to dark (left to right) and so is the Egret in his shading/shadowing. What's not to love? Amazing!

Joan, it may have squeezed the wrong way when I did the resize to 1400 x 1280 to submit it. Maybe should have done it opposite as it doesn't look squeezed on the original. Unfortunately, I didn't get any foreground as I was trying to get the tall girl in and it was one of those snap now or forever forget the picture. I will try what you have suggested above to fix it. Thank you for the assistance to unsqueeze it and for the background suggestion to leave it. It was kind of neat with the horse in the background (horse power/kid power) but there wasn't enough of the horse and the kids wouldn't cooperate and repose so I could fit it all in. Maybe it lost its strength of story? Maybe it is really just 3 kids in a jeep? |
