Thank you Rick. I have 7 Brittanys that I raised, train, show and field trial and hunt with. I have so many neat pictures of them in action :-) I don't think judges always appreciate those small/large things we see in them. The structure of a dog as it leaves the line in a field trial, ears flying, all four off the ground, the focus of the eyes on a bird or quail or chukar. This was my whimsical shot of Zephyrus.

Is there anything I could do to this photo to attract people? For me I hit on the crazy eyes first and had to laugh out loud. But some people don't, they see a mess of water and don't see the eyes. Perhaps in the end it is just a neat picture of a dog and how his eyes go crazy when shaking his head. I didn't know that happened with eyes. Happy Holidays to all and BEST of New Years! Thank you for sharing your ideas these past few months. |

Joan, you know I'm a beginner at this so I hope I say it in a way not to offend. The colors are beautiful and hold my attention. Then I see the bare ground and green pines and I lose sight of the beautiful oranges and yellows. What if you crop all the green and bare ground out - it is just the beautiful oranges and yellows. To me, it is missing the solitude that the oranges and yellows offer. You are mixing aspens with pine trees sort of (apples/oranges). Keep it all oranges :-) Just my thoughts and I hope I said them okay. |

An iconic tree for sure. Great photo in that there is no reflection from the window. Thank you for sharing! |

Wow Charles! It certainly looks like a Norman Rockwell! What a neat opportunity you had to recreate and reenact such an enormous time in our history. Great shot! Like Rick said, "Nothing I would do to it." Look forward to more of your work! |
