Very cool, I love what you did with this Lisa! I don't think I would change a thing because I love the simplicity of it. |

Thanks Kathy, I took your suggestion and made an attempt to texture up the sun as much as I could. It may be hard to tell anything is different, but I agree it might be better that way. |

Hi Henry, I really like this painterly rendering of your original and I'm not always a fan of painterly images. But this rendering is perfect for the subject. It's clean, fun and colorful. The skewed road and buildings add even more whimsy. The white sky doesn't bother me since lighter horizons are a natural progression into deeper blue skies.Nicely done! |

Very nice Brad, I really like this. There is tension and calm all tied together. The symmetry is broken by the beetle and also by the uneven swirls in the background.
I agree with Lisa in changing the red in the background to green so that the beetle really stands out. |

Well done Kathy! Imaginative perspective, looking up through the building. Did you have a composite in mind when you took this I wonder? I love the bats and the B&W conversion.
I think I'm seeing clouds at the top in the eyes? I would love to see the eyes without that effect, perhaps to get a stronger connection with the viewer.
Nevertheless, this is one of my favorites of your images so far! |
