Hi Lisa,
I love the original you have to work with! Nice effect! |

Sue, I love the colored balls and your technique worked very well.
I love the soft lighting, but I agree with Brad, the background is distracting and doesn't add to the feeling of Coco's free floating colored balls. I would crop the top down at the very least. I'd love to see this with a neutral background and shallow depth of field.

Hi Henry,
I admit, I also had to read your description a couple of times before I realized it was a typo, but what a funny typo!
Your face has great character, even without appearing to be three dimensional. I would check out some tutorials on cutting out images that have hair, and also on feathering and shading.

Hi Kathy,
I find it really difficult to create composites with people in them, so I think you did a great job combining these two images so well!
I agree with Lisa in that the halo is a bit too bright, and I'm not sure about the light rays coming straight down. I would like to see perhaps warmer diagonal rays instead to contrast the vertical trees. |

Hi Brad,
Love your blending of these two images and the muted tones of blue, black and tan. A nicely conveyed theme of your daughter's journey!
My only thought is that the tree on the right throws the composition a little off balance. I tried a crop to see how it might look w/o the tree there. |
